I work in deep partnership with senior leaders - sometimes as an executive coach, sometimes as a strategic advisor, and sometimes as a career strategist - depending on what the moment and the client requires.

The leaders I work with are already successful by any external measure. They come to me when the environment itself is complex—during leadership transitions, changing strategies, shifting priorities, or politically charged situations—and they want a place to think clearly about what comes next.

My role is to partner deeply with leaders as they navigate complexity, arrive at well-considered decisions, and act with clarity and integrity when the stakes are high.

Sometimes leaders engage me independently

  • Leaders come to me when they are navigating:

    - C-suite transitions or shifts in scope,

    - Organizational or strategic inflection points,

    - Complex stakeholder dynamics,

    - High-stakes decisions that carry significant organizational consequence.

    In those contexts, we work together in deep partnership — grounded in judgment, strategic clarity, and long-term perspective — rather than by following a standard set of sessions or tools. You will get exactly what you need when you need it.

  • I work with a limited number of leaders at a time. Most new relationships begin through referral or introduction.

 Customer Policies

  • All coaching packages must be used within 12 months of purchase. After 12 months, unused sessions expire.
    Coaching packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • I have a preference for phone coaching sessions as they allow me to have a larger impact with more people around the world. If you live in the DC area, or are visiting, I am often able to meet with you at once the beginning of our coaching program if it works logistically. There are no in-person meetings with Club membership. Retreats and intensives can be in-person or virtual (by using Zoom conferencing).

  • I use an online scheduling system which makes organizing your sessions easy.

  • Coaching works best when we have regularly scheduled sessions. Please use the online system to set up recurring appointments at the most convenient time for you.

  • If you have to cancel, I ask for 24 hours advance notice

For each session:

  • Plan to be in a quiet, private space when we’re working and be prepared to take notes

  • Prepare the topic(s) you’d like to work on, and/or results of your homework

  • Please call right at your scheduled time. I will wait 15 minutes and if you haven’t called by then, I will consider the session over

  • If you have something you’d like me to review before our session, please send it as far in advance as you can!

  • Let’s leave nothing unspoken, shall we? If you’re unhappy at any time – or if you’re deliriously happy! – say something. I promise I will, too.
