When I reflect on where I’ve been able to bring the most value to the people I’ve worked with, it’s clear to me that the best work happens when we’re intensively focused in a mission toward increasing the client’s success.
And, for years I’ve wanted to find a way to work in this intensive way with small groups because I know that something very powerful happens when people are together sharing their hopes and dreams.
The vast majority of my clients also tell me that their days are so hectic and busy that they rarely have time to step back, take stock and recalibrate their progress toward their goals.
That is – except when they’re in a coaching session with me.
So, I’ve decided to take my work out to people who could most use it. Executives, leaders, business owners who need to take a one-day Planned Pause so they can go back to their work with renewed focus and a plan for greater success.
Using an approach I’ve honed with several virtual groups, we’ll use a strengths assessment as a framework for a day full of group work, pairs work and individual work.
I’ve rented a bungalow in the fabulous Charlie Hotel in West Hollywood – it will be the perfect environment for our day together. Since it’s a bungalow, though, space is limited to a maximum of 12 people.
While in California, I’m planning a day for coaches, too. Again, in a small group of no more than 12, I’ll provide mentorship and real-world views of what’s really working in the coaching field today and help coaches streamline and prepare for greater success.
I’ll also be offering private one-on-one coaching during this tour.
So, here’s what it’s going to look like:
Thursday, October 18th: Mentoring Master Class for Coaches, 8:30am – 5pm
- continental breakfast and lunch provided
- exercises, discussions and group coaching around your practice
- mentoring on your biggest challenges and resistance points
Friday, October 19th: A Planned Pause for Executives, Leaders and Business Owners, 8:30am – 5pm
- continental breakfast and lunch provided
- a curated day using my retreat format
- small group work
- pairs work
- individual work
Saturday, October 20th: Private one-on-one coaching by appointment
You’ll want to know about pricing, won’t you?
For the Mentoring Master Class coach program: $750
For the Planned Pause for executives, leaders and business owners: $1250
For private one-on-one coaching: $400 per 60 minute session at the bungalow. Please email me to set up your time.
You may notice that this is not your average “sales page”, with lines and lines and lines of copy, and come-ons, and “testimonials” and discounts and sales-i-ness. Because I think you already know whether this is the right thing for you to do, or not.
And if it’s the right thing, no string of copy is going to persuade you. And if you need persuading, then this is probably not right for you.
I’m ready. Are you?
It’s a small group, and I’ll bet that you meet interesting and thoughtful people. It will be a great experience. And if it feels right for you, I’d love to have you. Click here to join me.
All the best,
I’ve had a lot of great jobs in my career, but none has been as fulfilling – or as long-lived! – as my executive coaching work has been.
I get to work with women and men who live all over the world. To a person, they’re looking for ways to step up their performance and ensure their success. They want to be clear, to find new approaches, to quiet the worry, to defeat stress.
In my 14 years as an executive coach, my clients have managed $150m budgets and the employees that go with an organization that size. And I’ve also helped people step into their first role as manager of other people. People have started businesses, gotten promoted and made peace with their office nemesis.
It’s very satisfying.
When a client tells me, “I think differently after working with you” – that is music to my ears. Not because their thinking was impaired before, but because they have new tools and new ways of dealing with the things which used to throw them for a loop.
My idea situation is a real partnership with my clients, where I can support them – and challenge them – over several months. This is how real change happens.
I had no idea when I set out to become an executive coach that my experiences in high-pressure, high-stakes environments – like The White House, politics, government and corporate life – would be so relevant to so many clients. I’m really glad I found this field because it’s ideal for me, and every day I know my work makes a difference.
